The idyllic campsite of Aarburg Wiggerspitz is situated on the river Aare, where the main north-south and east-west thoroughfares meet, close to the Basel-Lucerne and Bern-Zurich motorways (exit Rothrist). Camping at this pretty site is indeed a pleasure, with amenities including WCs and separate washrooms, hot and cold showers, electric hook-up for caravans, and a restaurant and kiosk under expert management. Adjoining the campsite is the town of Aarburg municipal swimming pool. |
